Leslie Abraham taught my son Ballet and Contemporary for a number of years, both in class room settings and for solo tuition. She expertly guided him through numerous RAD examinations, eisteddfods competitions and concerts.

I found Leslie to have a deep knowledge and understanding of the Stage 6 HSC Dance course requirements and an unapologetic focus on strong technical ballet foundation for all dance styles.   

Leslie is a highly motivated dance teacher and choreographer of dance, whose love of creating dance as well as teaching her students is always evident. She easily adapts to the needs of her students and has the choreographic and teaching skills and disposition to rework her classes and teaching style depending on those needs. Leslie is passionate about choreography and teaching dance and has an infectious energy she instils in her students. She is adaptable and driven, always looking to take her student to a higher level of performance and knowledge.

For year 12, my daughter elected to do film in dance for her major study. Whilst Leslie had not taught this aspect of the HSC dance syllabus before, she happily took on the challenge and worked with my daughter to give her the necessary supporting framework to confidently produce a work for which my daughter could be incredibly proud.

Leslie is a gifted teacher who gives generously of her time and knowledge. She is easily approachable and willing to work through whatever is thrown her way. I would strongly recommend her to any student who is looking to do Stage 6 HSC dance or improving their technical ballet skills, core strength or performance goals.

I came to know Leslie Abraham over the past two years when she taught my son ballet and prepared him for his RAD Advanced 1 & Advanced 2 exams. Over this time Leslie formed a great rapport with him. I have observed her taking class and she is a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher who brings a fresh energy into the classroom. Leslie is skilled in explaining what she wants of her students and gives corrections in a positive and encouraging manner. She obviously has an excellent and extensive understanding of the RAD syllabus examination content and format to be able to prepare him for these major exams. She effectively passes on her wealth of knowledge to her students. 
Leslie has a particular affinity with teaching boy’s ballet class. She was able to fully engage my son in her classes and he always felt challenged and inspired. 
As well as being a wonderful class work teacher, Leslie made the extra effort to facilitate individualised one on one sessions with each of the boys in her class, to workshop and further perfect their examination variations which was invaluable.
She took great interest in the progress of my son's ballet and has supported him by attending his ballet exams, performances and competitions.
Her effective teaching and demeanour has paid off with my son achieving Distinctions with a very good mark in his Advanced 1 and Advanced 2 RAD examinations.
